CODE OF CARE

You will always be treated with care, dignity, and respect.

All sessions and communications are treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
Information may only be shared where there is a legal or safeguarding obligation, including:
- Suspicion of terrorism
- Suspected abuse or harm of a child
- A credible risk of suicide or serious harm to self or others

If you are receiving medical or psychological care, it is recommended—where appropriate—that all parties are informed you are also receiving complementary therapy.

Healing and energy-based work, including Reiki and Intuitive Energy Healing, is a complementary therapy and does not replace medical or psychological treatment. If you are concerned about a serious or urgent condition, please consult your GP or relevant healthcare professional.

General Terms

No Guarantees:
Healing is a deeply personal process. While every effort is made to support your wellbeing, no specific results or outcomes can be guaranteed, as each person’s experience is unique and influenced by many factors.

Privacy:
By booking a session, you agree to the collection and secure storage of personal details (such as your name and contact information) for the purpose of providing your treatment and client care. Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent.

Code of Conduct:
Clients are asked to arrive in a respectful and calm manner. Sessions cannot proceed if a client is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances, or behaves in an abusive, aggressive, or discriminatory way.

Client Forms & Responsibility

Please read all forms carefully and complete all questions in full.
Forms should preferably be returned via email prior to your appointment. If brought on the day, reviewing them will take place during your session time.
Failure to return a completed consent form will result in cancellation of your session.

Client Eligibility

Medical Conditions:
Some health conditions may require approval from your GP before treatment can take place. These include (but are not limited to):
- Severe mental health conditions such as schizophrenia
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Bone fractures before setting
- Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes (if unmanaged)

If you are unsure, please seek medical advice and discuss with Angela before booking.

Treatment Consent

I understand that I am choosing to receive a healing or therapy treatment from Angela Bowe (Reiki Master Teacher & Practitioner, Honey Method Practitioner, C-HT, Intuitive Energy Therapist).

I understand that Angela is not medically qualified and that this does not constitute medical or psychological treatment.

I acknowledge that no outcomes can be guaranteed and that I may stop or limit treatment at any time.

I confirm that all information provided is accurate and that I will disclose any relevant health conditions or treatments.

Children
Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will be asked to give consent and remain present throughout the session.

Booking & Payment

Booking

Appointments are confirmed once payment has been received. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

Cancellations

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your appointment can be changed or cancelled without charge.
Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a 50% fee.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the session cost.

Block Booking Policy

Block booking sessions are offered as a commitment to your ongoing healing journey. All block-booked sessions must be used within six (6) months of the purchase date.

This timeframe supports continuity of care and ensures you receive the full benefit of your treatments. In special or unforeseen circumstances, an extension may be considered. Any exceptions must be discussed and agreed in advance between the client and Angela.

Unused sessions beyond the six-month period, without prior agreement, will be considered expired and are non-refundable.

By purchasing a block booking, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Refunds
In the event that the therapist needs to reschedule, you will be offered any payment or deposit to either be transferred to a future appointment or refunded to you.

Reiki Course Booking Policy

Reiki Level 1 & Level 2 Course Booking & Cancellation Policy

To secure your place a £20 deposit is required at the time of booking.

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.

If you choose to pay in full at the time of booking, a refund may be issued up to one week before the course start date, minus a £20 administration fee.

Due to the small, intentionally intimate group sizes, which are purposefully designed to maximise your learning, attunement, and overall experience, it is often not possible to refill a space at short notice. For this reason, no refunds can be offered within one week of the course date, regardless of payment method.

Failure to attend the course without prior notice (no-show) will incur a charge of 70% of the total course fee, as the space has been reserved exclusively for you.

In the unlikely event that the course needs to be cancelled by Angela, a full refund (including deposit) will be issued, or you may choose to transfer your booking to a future course date.

By booking a place on a Reiki Level 1 or Level 2 course, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Meditation Course/Workshop Cancellation Policy

To honour the energy, preparation, and limited spaces within each meditation circle, I kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, or non-attendance, are non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding and for respecting the container we create together.

As your meditation teacher, my intention is to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Participation is always voluntary. You are encouraged to listen to your body and modify or pause practices as needed.
Meditation may bring emotions or physical sensations to awareness. You remain in control of your experience at all times.
Any personal sharing is treated with confidentiality, except where legal or safety obligations apply.
Meditation is not a replacement for medical or mental health care. If you have concerns, please seek professional support.
I maintain clear professional boundaries and ask all participants to contribute to a calm and respectful environment.

Hypnotherapy Disclaimer
Angela provides tailored recorded hypnotherapy sessions for clients. Please note: these sessions are intended for relaxation and wellbeing purposes only. They are not a medical device and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition.

For your safety:

Do not listen to recordings while driving, operating machinery, or performing any activity that requires full attention.
Ensure you are in a safe, comfortable environment when using the recordings.
If you have any serious physical or mental health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before using these sessions.

Therapist Rights

Refusal of Service
The therapist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a session at any time if a client’s behaviour, health condition, or other circumstance makes it unsafe or inappropriate to continue.

Price Changes
Prices are subject to change. Regular clients will be notified in advance wherever possible.
